A heartfelt congratulations to the incomparable Greg Natale who this week celebrates ten years of Greg Natale Design – a decade of award winning, signature works. Probably the most accomplished ten year old we know!
Since 2011 Greg and team have been completing some of the most iconic Australian interiors across residential, retail and commercial practices that celebrate bold colour, mindblowing geometry and a sophistication that sets his designs apart.
Congratulations Greg, we look forward to many more years of your unique and inspiring work.

BELLE announced their Annual Design Award winners last night to a vast room full of design and media guests. These prestigious, keenly-contested accolades acknowledge and reward excellence and creativity in the Australian interior design industry. The winners across each category were:
· Best residential interior: Matt Gibson for Mary Street Residential, Melbourne.
· Best commercial interior: BKH for Dinosaur Designs, New York.
· Best corporate interior: BKH for Financial and Energy Exhange Group, Sydney.
· Best hospitality interior: Bates Smart for Crown Metropol, Melbourne.
· Interior Designer of the Year: Greg Natale.
Belle editor-in-chief Neale Whitaker had this to say:
The calibre of entries this year is outstanding. It demonstrates that the quality of Australian interior design is truly world-class, and it’s exciting that through these awards we can celebrate such innovation and talent.

Artist Scott Petrie was born in Sydney and raised on the Northern Beaches, his works evoke intense emotion through a masterful layering of colours. Petrie’s application of wax and glazes to a base of oils, results in a complexity and depth to the canvas. Each piece seems to burst with colour – an unmistakable nod to the hues found in Australian and exotic foreign environments.
Currently residing in Singapore on assignment, Petrie’s works are frequently published in print here and abroad thanks to their striking scale and vibrancy. A favourite of Interior Designer Greg Natale, Scott’s works can be found hanging in many of Greg’s residential projects.

The October/November issue of Belle Magazine goes out today with a cracking cover shot and some brilliant content…
Gracing the cover is Greg Natale’s “Tierney Watson Residence” featuring our ‘miami cool’ Veranda Chair collection from EMU, Italy. Suitably paired with the sleek extending Piano Table (also from EMU), the whole scene is beautifully shot by the master of light and lens: Anson Smart, the vibrancy of the living space virtually leaping off the page at you.
Between the covers we are also excited to see Anne-Maree Sargeant, BELLE’s new design editor-at-large, has compiled a number of pages bumper to bumper with the coolest from here and abroad.

Nominees for the INTERIOR DESIGN AWARDS | 2010 have recently been announced and across most catagories KE-ZU and their suppliers are represented abundantly with lighting, furniture and accessories having been specified throughout many of the shortlisted projects.
